Through government sponsorship the European housing assistance program bore an unprecedented creativity in furniture design for war torn Europe. Kurt Thut, the head designer of Wohnhilfe, carefully curated the trajectory of the company through spirited innovation.
The stool presented here is a reflection of the Swiss country heritage and the flourishing international style at the time.
