A sleek multi functional/adjustable side or writing table which also works great for the laptop.
First designed in 1924 by the French engineer Georg Albert Caruelle,  later edited for the Swiss manufacturer and design firm Embru, Switzerland in 1942.
We are pleased to offer an excellent pair of early editions in patinated metal with walnut platters.
A handy system extends the greater platter to pivot out in a fix position, the table is telescopic from 27-39 in.

Jurg Bally of the Bally family who built the Swiss shoe empire worked in the offices of Alfred Roth and Le Corbusier. In 1953 he opened his own Office in Zurich. Heading a highly successful Interior architecture and design firm Bally is considered one of Switzerland’s great innovators of furniture design with models created for various well-known furniture manufacturers. The chair offered her was designed in 1959 for Girsberger.

An exceeding rare stool from the Meraggia foundation in southern Switzerland. The foundation was initiated by Heiri Brunner during the early 1950s and remains till today though the early hand crafted furnishing no longer remains.
Everyday items were crafted mostly from Walnut for the foundation’s use, namely chairs, stools, work desks and bowls. The brutish execution of chisel and saw is evident on each piece. We are proud to offer this very rare Meraggia stool of which no two pieces are alike.

A sled base high chest of drawers by Borge Mogensen (1914-1972). Originally designed in 1957 and manufactured by P. Lauritsen & Son, Denmark. The back is equally well finished so as to be used as a divider. The chest of drawer has been in one family since its purchase in 1964 from the Boutique Danois, Geneva Switzerland.

A Danish teak and painted metal trolley from the 1960s. The trolley has a handy collapsible mechanism allowing it to fold and stored neatly, can be used as a bedside or mobile side table. The nickel plating shows signs of tarnish typical of the age the painted metal and teak are in good condition.

Through government sponsorship the European housing assistance program bore an unprecedented creativity in furniture design through out war torn Europe. Kurt Thut, the head designer of Wohnhilfe, carefully curated the trajectory of the company through spirited innovation.
The pine bench presented here is a reflection of the Swiss country heritage and the flourishing international style of the time.
