Jurg Bally of the Bally family who built the Swiss shoe empire worked in the offices of Alfred Roth and Le Corbusier. In 1953 he opened his own Office in Zurich. Heading a highly successful Interior architecture and design firm Bally is considered one of Switzerland’s great innovators of furniture design with models created for various well-known furniture manufacturers. The chair offered her was designed in 1959 for Girsberger.

White glass and brass indoor lantern from the Bronzewarenfabrik workshop in Turgi Switzerland. Designed and manufactured by Bag Turgi.
We have 3 identical lanterns, newly wired. The lanterns were acquired from a now defunct nationalist social club in Basel Switzerland.

Marble platter with teak frame on two footing. The length of the platter allow excellent surface use for tasty tidbits.
The ends have a slight tapering which lends a lightness to the overall design.
